Lineage 2 (L2) is the second sequel to the moderately successful MMORPG Lineage originated in Korea and later ported to worldwide audience.

Lineage 2 Adena is the currency used to buy and trade items. Players earn L2 Adena by defeating monsters, completing quests and trading with others. Clans may also earn Adena by taxing the surrounding lands if they own a Castle in the area. There are certain items in the game that players need and are willing to pay for even at high prices.
